I made 3, two for the 6 of us, & one to freeze.
So, you can cut these measurements down if you so prefer.
3 double pie crust, uncooked
3 lb stew meat, cooked
12 large carrots, peeled & cut into fifths
12 small russet potatoes, peeled & quartered
1 can sweet peas
1 c half & half
1/4 c butter
In separate pots, cook the potatoes & the carrots until fork tender.
When cooked fork tender, drain & rinse then return to the biggest pot.
Then add the half & half & the butter.
Cook until thickened by half.
& spoon into pie crusts.
Bake at 350F for about 20 minutes. Don’t forget to vent your pie!
